I have quite a bit of loose skin and was told the from 6-8 weeks out, use preparation h with saran wrap b4 bed.......i know that alot of ppl on here support this theory but no where do they mention a time frame. is this a correct time frame (6 - 8 weeks) ?

I have heard of people doing this for the last week of the prep, but not for 2 months! It seems the benifit of it would be maxed after a few days of use.

I tried it in my last week before my contest, on my stomach and sides. I didn't wrap myself in saran wrap though, just rubbed it on 3x a day.............to be honest, don't think it worked. I got tighter at the contest, but think that was more to do with the diet and water load than anything else. I won't bother doing it again. Juts my opinion of course...............

Nope...not going to work. They took the active ingredient that was "supposed" to do that out of Prep H a long time ago.

Also, define "loose skin"...are you are talking about the type of loose skin after a 100lb drop? Or the loose skin that bodybuilders like to think is not bodyfat?

Just curious, what was the active ingredient that caused the effect we wanted?

Well, that explains it.

Throw that MYTH in the trash, with about 63 others that I have discovered to be false over the last few months ;-)

We should create a MYTHBUSTERS thread due to all the crap and misinformation that is spread in the bodybuilding world. Guess, its like they say though, "Opinions are like *******s, everybody has one".

As nice as that would be - you will STILL have a handful of people that will refuse to let go of these myths and SWEAR up and down by them, regardless of the science and research against it. Some of these will even be genetic freaks (the kind that can do whatever they want and still look amazing) and use the whole "well, I'm bigger than you so I'm right" method.

Then, of course, what fun would these boards be without all that ? ;)

I don't know man, bring on the myths!!! I just busted ass to loose about 50# of fat! I need to know if rubbing a special cream on me or wrapping myself in syran would have been more effective.
