Hey all,
I'm gonna be starting my H-drol cycle tomarrow. This is a big step for me, the first time I've crossed "the line". Alot of thought and research went into this decision, and alot of dedication and hard work are going to be put in on this cycle. The cycle looks like the following:
Competitive Edge Labs H-drol- 50/50/50/50 or most likely 50/50/75/75
Anabolic Innovations Cycle Support
Taurine- 1000mg/day
Caffeine/Stims- only if I need to wake up a little before I hit the iron.
Animal Pak
Controlled Labs Purple Wraath- Intraworkout
The PCT will be as follows:
Serious Nutrition Solutions Inhibit E- 75/50/50/25
Anabolic Innovations Post Cycle Support

I'll be posting up my meals for the first few days, just to give people an idea what I'm eating, and every now and then throughout.
I'll be posting workouts, and updates on weight and stats every 10 days. I'll be doing 25 min of low intensity steady state cardio upon waking in the morning, eating breakfast, going to class, and then working out around 1-2pm. So my two h-drol doses will be at 6am and 3-4pm. I'll be taking cycle support with my 2nd meal of the day (3 scoops chocolate uni-syn), and my last of the day (2.5 scoops dymatize 12 hr+2tbsp natty pb).
Training regimen is 5 days a week-
monday-chest
tuesday- back
wednesday- off
thursday- shoulders
friday- arms
saturday- legs
sunday- off
I'll be doing one week heavy (6-8 reps) alternated with one week high rep (10-12). Every workout will include one or more of the following- drop sets, 21's, rep outs, forced reps, and partials.
Here are the starting stats:
Height- 5'9" (not really lookin for much change here, haha)
Weight- 244.5
Body Fat %- 25.4 (I know, high...its comin down, I had surgery and was laid up all winter)
Waist size- 38.5
Chest- 46
Shoulders- 53
Arms- 16.5
Thighs(midway between knee and hip)- 26
Calves- 15 (really took a hit with ankle surgery)
Forearms- 15
Goals for the log-
1. Ultimately to gain lean mass, I will be training hard and eating clean the entire cycle, its gonna be strict.
2. Hopefully lose some bf/waist size. Not a priority, but I think with clean eating and the morning cardio, it can happen.
Anything else you wanna know just ask. Hopefully this log will be interesting and informative.

530pm- 14oz chicken breast, sweet potato, green salad with olive oil and vinegar, 2 Fish Oil Tabs, 1 Evening Primrose Tab, 2 CLA Tabs
730pm- 3oz can of tuna, oat and honey granola bar
1000pm- 2.5 scoops dymatize 12 hr and 1 scoop cycle support
This is a pretty typical day for me, although for dinner I typically eat red meat instead of chicken. So thats how my diet and supplementation will look for the time I'm on H-drol, I'll update it if I start eating dramatically more.

Incline BB Bench- 185x12, 185x12, 205x10, 225x10, 235x10, 21's with 175
Flat DB Bench- 12x80's, 12x80's, 10x85's, 10x85's

Sides-
None to report, chest workout felt great, best pump I've had in a long time. Also the first time I haven't taken any preworkout booster for quite awhile. Got pretty nauseous after I got off the elliptical this morning, thought I was going to yak, but I kept it down. I might have to eat something small with the first dose tomarrow.

effects-
I was really tired all day, i dont know if it was lethargy or not, I got 8 good hours of sleep last night though.
I noticed that my chest is still really full from yesterdays workout, and I've never had that before, in fact like 3 people that see me day in and day out said "you look bigger today" to me.
Em-dub- how long until it fully kicks in, and what can I expect/look forward to when it does.
AI guys- choc peanut butter cycle support, which is horrible by itself, actually tastes pretty damn good with chocolate uni-syn and dymatize 12 hr. chocolate

Between 15-20 days is when most people start to get the most out of it--even though i felt it my first time after about a week. Do u have 2 bottles? if so you might want to go 5 weeks.

I bought 2 because I was planning on going 50/50/75/75, which will still leave me some leftover. will 5 weeks do any excessive liver damage or produce diminishing returns?

if i'm not mistaken if you keep taking your cycle support throughout, then you SHOULD be able to go 6 weeks w/o to much excessive damage on the liver

I think 5 weeks will be as long as I feel safe going. I take lipitor for high cholesterol, and I know that also stresses the liver, so I dont want to chance anything.

No 5 weeks will be fine( 6 probably would also with liver care thru out)

I was asking if the taking one upon waking at 645am and one at 1pm an hour before my workout was a good dosing idea, or if they were too close together.

OH , sorry. With Hdrol they can be taken at the same time if you like. It has a better half life than most but if you perfer to split it up thats fine.

HHMMM.. Back pumps are not too common with Hdrol ,but if you are have them you need to be taking between 5-7 g aday.

I've always gotten them doing legs, but never this bad, so its not totally the h-drol, but I'm think its contributing in some way.

Starting to really feel the effects the last two days, especially on heavy chest day today, I felt so much stronger, it was almost like easy. Also, I am rediculously hungry what seems like every half hour, I'm just constantly shoveling protein and complex carbs into my mouth. No negative sides, and I'm also up to 248 dry in the morning.

and it begins...I was hungry all day, no matter what I ate, I was hungry 10 minutes later, I ate like every hour to hour and a half today. Training was rediculous, Training was off the hook, I can't really describe it, its just a mentalilty that comes over you. I feel stronger, I can do more, I feel fuller and more pumped, its just a great feeling. Just with the increased appetite and the intensity of the workouts, I cant wait to see what happens now.

Coming up on the end of 2 weeks on h-drol, and I am completely satisfied. Workouts have been rediculous, and I'm seeing results EVERYDAY. Not only am I seeing them personally, which has always been difficult for me to tell, people that see me everyday have commented on how much bigger I've gotten. I will weigh tomarrow morning to update the weight.

Planning on running h-drol also...starting monday. Here is my PCT. Im going to try and add mass / cut bodyfat with this run of hdrol, so my calories im not sure of right.

I was at 75mg/day for 3 days (mon, tue, wed) and felt awful...headaches, couldnt sleep, felt really weak and tired, cold sweats...just no good. yesterday I went back down to 50mg, and thats what I'm gonna stay at, and hopefully go to 5 weeks. I feel a night and day difference between 50 and 75, and I've had great results so far at 50.
I'll have todays diet and training up in the next few hours here.
EDIT- I also wanted to add in that I'm considering picking up some Liver Longer for PCT, and then at the conclusion of PCT running a whole body detox (probably Lee Haney's detox) any opinons?

what would be different in a week?
You may adjust to it then. Headaches , trouble sleeping etc , usually is from BP or dehydration. Try increasing you water intake...If i dont drink mega water on hdrol ,the same happens to me.

Really well, I started PCT this morning. I have been crazy busy all week writing up final papers, but I hit huge PR's in bench (355x4), deads(405x2), shoulder press(250x4) and squats (435x4).
This morning I was 254.0, which is a solid 10 pounds.
PCT is going to consist of ATD at 75/50/50/25, 3x/day Retain 2, 4x/day Post Cycle Support, and a 30 day herbal liver cleanse reccomended by my chiropractor.
I stopped the cycle a few days early because I was starting to get really tired, and was losing my appetite. I think that combination of a methyl, lipitor, and high cholesterol was alot for my liver. I am gonna start taking a basic liver support all the time now, and next cycle I will take cycle support and liver longer.

I actually took the last two days off of training, I deliver ice for a job and memorial day weekend has been crazy. I'll be resuming training tomorrow.
I feel great so far, my libido hasn't changed at all(good thing), I have a ton of energy, and oddly enough, I've like noticably leaned out around my midsection, and its only been 3-4 days. My gf made that observation.
My testicles had started to be a little bit sore the last 2-3 days of my cycle, but they feel normal now.
Weight is down to 252, but thats mostly due to the fact that I've been working my ass off all weekend, and it's hard to get the necessary calories while driving a truck. That being said, I'm still managing 400 or so grams of protein per day. It's just really the carbs that have been cut.
No complaints so far, can't wait to do it all again come october-novemberish.

Make sure you find a way no matter what to keep the cals up to speed during pct. Very essential or you'll lose a lot of your gains, hopefully you have some Xtend or other BCAA's as well. I hear you on being busy as **** though - I cook out all my meals and tupperware that **** for a week or two - freeze if you're worried about spoiling food and just pull it out the night before into the fridge.
BTW, you're a truck yourself man at 252lbs (no homo) :cool:

Yea, i drank xtend all weekend, so I'm sure that helped. Luckily for future weekends, I found a great recipe for like 500 calorie protein bars that I can make and freeze. Once my pct period is over, I'm probably gonna go keto for 1 or 2 months, because I know that with the hard labor over the summer I can put a big dent in the bf level. For pct though I'll still be shooting for the 3700-4000 range.
The truck comment is appreciated, I'm slowly trying to shape that truck status into more of a bb'er, haha.

Thanks. I was very pleased with my first cycle, I was really scared to do a first cycle, but now that I have some experience under my belt I'm looking forward to doing more. I will aim for 2 a year, 3 at most if the timing works out. Thanks for following along.

I haven't lost any strength, bp is normal, liver enzymes are normal, cholesterol is high, but normal for my genetics (~250).
It was a great cycle, one that I will be looking to repeat in the future.
For future methyl cycles, I will be preloading and megadosing hawthorne and CoQ10, along with a basic liver support like AX's perfect cycle, I wasnt that impressed by cycle support.

I'll be posting up my meals for the first few days, just to give people an idea what I'm eating, and every now and then throughout.
I'll be posting workouts, and updates on weight and stats every 10 days. I'll be doing 25 min of low intensity steady state cardio upon waking in the morning, eating breakfast, going to class, and then working out around 1-2pm. So my two h-drol doses will be at 6am and 3-4pm. I'll be taking cycle support with my 2nd meal of the day (3 scoops chocolate uni-syn), and my last of the day (2.5 scoops dymatize 12 hr+2tbsp natty pb).
Training regimen is 5 days a week-
monday-chest
tuesday- back
wednesday- off
thursday- shoulders
friday- arms
saturday- legs
sunday- off
I'll be doing one week heavy (6-8 reps) alternated with one week high rep (10-12). Every workout will include one or more of the following- drop sets, 21's, rep outs, forced reps, and partials.
Here are the starting stats:
Height- 5'9" (not really lookin for much change here, haha)
Weight- 244.5
Body Fat %- 25.4 (I know, high...its comin down, I had surgery and was laid up all winter)

Calves- 15 (really took a hit with ankle surgery)

Goals for the log-
1. Ultimately to gain lean mass, I will be training hard and eating clean the entire cycle, its gonna be strict.
2. Hopefully lose some bf/waist size. Not a priority, but I think with clean eating and the morning cardio, it can happen.

Libido was normal to high, I couldnt really tell, I guess you could say I kept a libido consistent with a 21 year old college student, haha.
I started to have some digestive issues that I have never had before, which made me think that maybe liver issues came into play, but I was born with high cholesterol and I've taken Lipitor since I was 12, so in a normal person I would imagine that wouldnt come into play. For my next cycle I will be megadosing silymarin, NAC, ALA, and taking thermolife liver longer on top of that. Also, I am taking the former three full time until my next cycle. Like I said, in a normal person, probably no side effects.

Wait till like day 10-14, heavy weights feel light, the strength increase is rediculous.
Cholesterol is as good as it can be, 80mg of Lipitor a day keeps it at a respectable 250, haha.
PCT has been over for 2 or so weeks, if I were you I'd use 6-oxo or something other than plain ATD, you will completely lose the desire to have sex, haha.

Thanks for the reply. That sounds great. I know some people just feel like crap on sd throughout the whole day. It's great the h-drol doesn't seem to do this.
