I thought this would be a fun thread for all us in our 2nd 20's!

I am 42yrs 5'10, 200lbs. and will be competing Sept. 13th 2008 in the State College PA NGA competition. I'll be taking some pics this weekend for my near 20 week out progress. I am feeling really conditoned and decided this would be the year to get into the BB another time since 1989.

Here is a pic a few days before my 1st competition.

How is everyones training been going so far? The highs and lows of bodybuilding at this stage? etc...

I'm 44 and I did 2 shows last year. I'm going to lay low, work on adding some quality muscle and hopefully get back onstage when I turn 50. I'm currently enjoying being a judge. Can't say I really miss low carb dieting!

Here's a shot 5 weeks out from last year's NPC state championship -

It's a fantastic show... I had a blast competing there last year. Be dialed in, because the competition is top notch and there will be awesome physiques all around you!

I am not quite 40 yet but close. I am prepping for the Central Japan Bodybuilding Championships in Tokyo. I will be doing the over 35 Master's division. I took second last year as this was my first show ever. Going for "first" this year, training my butt off!
