I wrote this a while ago and thought that this would be a good place to post it.
I took ephedra products for a couple of years and never had any bad side effects. Remember to just listen to your body, in my opinion the only thing wrong with ephedra are the people who take it incorrectly. Those are the ones who end up getting it banned. Just like those army guys who took it and died. I am in the Air Force, and my friend in the medical squadron here on base read the actual report in regards to those army guys---here is the low down, the army guys were taking about double the dosage, and had been on a run in extreme temperatures and they got heat stroke and died, so now everyone is up in arms about ephedra. To make matters worse that babseball player dies of heat stroke and ephedra is linked to his death as well. First of all I regret the loss of any innocent persons life and I am sorry that these individuals have passed. With that said, I think it is ridiculous that the government is trying to outlaw ephedra products, just because a few people have abused it and died. What about alcohol and smoking how many people die every day from those, but will the government ever outlaw drinking and smoking, I think not. This is so absurd that I can't help but get pissed off everytime I here someone talking about banning Ephedra, which has been linked (not directly caused) to a hand full of deaths, when drinking and smoking directly cause many people to die each day--Hell, some of those deaths are from people who don't even drink or smoke ie second hand smoke,accident victims,unborn children the list goes on--but why does the government not ban these one reason, taxes they make to much money from these products--so why do they want to ban ephedra, because there are a bunch of uninformed and misinformed media giving it a bad name--I even heard a reporter on cnn compare ephedra to steroids!!!!!!!!!!. Although the media has not fully got their hands on any good andros stories, eventually someone will abuse andros and then the media will report that andros causes cancer in mice and it causes children to grow tails and then the government will trr to ban it as well.
