Hi everyone.
Is the ketogenic diet bad for sprinters?
Say I'm doing sprint endurance training, would the lack of carbs hinder my performance?
Would I feel quite energetic? Is it ok to go on this if some days I have a lot of exercise (Tuesdays can potentially become 4 hours of hard exercise)?

Thanks all :-)

I've asked this before, as I run a LOT for the military. Pretty much your best option is a TKD so you don't burn up muscle tissue during anaerobic periods.

x2...keto is more geared towards endurance as im pretty sure that beta oxidation only occurs through aerobic pathways

but tkd would probably be fine for a sprinter

Ok, I'll design myself a Targeted Keto Diet and post it in this forum when I'm done.
thanks
