does anyone know what has kept this guy from being a top competitor. when i see his pictures he just looks amazing. huge frame, lots of mass, good conditioning...

And he pwned King Kamali at the Ironman... everyone talked about rusty Jeffers being screwed, but man, Armin should have been much higher.

He's another competitor who constantly gets screwed. And he does look amazing, I'm with you on that. Complete physique, absolutely massive and his waist isn't overwhelming as some others. How someone like King Kamali places above him is beyond me. Perhaps another example of having a "name" in the game.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. But even then, I think his strengths overshadow his weaknesses. Kamali's physique is piss poor in comparison to this man but Scholz still gets overlooked. But I agree, to be more competitive he needs to work on developing his legs a bit more. Those frickin' germans though. Check out his most muscular shot. It rivals Wolf and Ruhl. What's in the water over there in Germany?
