Welcome to the sanitarium...

Like most people here, my goal is to get as big and shredded as humanely possible. When I started training seriously at the age of 32, I was 24% body fat and as weak as a geriatric squirrel. As you see from the picture above, at age 34, I am now in much better shape. I've come a long way in just over two years, and now I am focused intently on becoming a truly competitive bodybuilder. I am proud of what I've achieved thus far, but I am not satisfied.

I will redefine myself, yet again, and I invite you to watch.

Here's yesterdays training:

Training

Incline bench press: 175 x4, 165 x4, x4
Low cable row: 190 x4, x4, x4
Plate loaded shoulder press: 220 x4, x4, x4
Db shrug: 95 x6, x6, x6
Pressdown: 165 x6, x4, x4
Db curl: 45 x4, x4, x4

30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical

Supplementation

MST Cordygen 5
MST Kreaceps
MST Citruvol
MST Shred XS
MST Shred hardcore XS
MST MPV365
MST ZMK

Primaforce Elastamine
Scivation Xtend

Thoughts

I have a shoulder that acts up on me, and it's been whining lately, when I hit 175 on the inclines it was enough to make my shoulder yelp, so I had to back off the weight. Better to play it safe than wind up sorry. The other lifts all felt great.

Here's today's training:

Training

Plate-loaded deadlift machine 490 x4, x4, x4
Leg press 590 x6, x4, x4
Seated calf raise 145 x8, x8, x8

30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical

Supplementation

MST Cordygen VO2
MST Kreaceps
MST Citruvol
MST Shred XS
MST Shred hardcore XS
MST MPV365
MST ZMK

Primaforce Elastamine
Scivation Xtend

Thoughts

This was my first time using the new Cordygen VO2 and I definitely felt it working. My recovery between sets was rapid and nearly complete. I had to carefully control my pace during cardio, my heart rate was up to 150 bpm, but it felt like I was working at low intensity. The new Cordygen is awesome stuff.

My strength is starting to progress nicely. My bum shoulder is a bit sore today from the pressing movements yesterday, but it's not as bad as it was the week before.
