I have worked my ass off for the past year and a half + 16 weeks of dieting down to finally compete TOMOROW in my first show.... i just got a call that my grandmother passed away she lived in the city which is where my show is- i dont want to be selfish but should i do the show or not I AM IN A PICKLE

dude, if it were me, and I had busted my ass for 16 weeks for a show, I would say go for it. I bet if your grandmother could speak to you from her resting place, she would surely want you to do the show.

p.s. at least u are in shape either way, wheter u compete or not man. Its almost summer, so if you dont compete you can still look forward to the beach shredded, and the chicks. Fun times.

I would say do the show. I'm sure that your grandmother would want you to, and you can dedicate the effort to her. You can visit her resting place and pay your respects to her later on.

Darrem Charles did a show just a week after his mom was killed in NYC, because he knew she would have wanted him to. Be your best!
