I'm doing it. 7 April 2008 - 30 June 2008. 12 weeks to totally transform, motivation is through the roof. This journal will have daily workouts and weekly progress pics, feel free to post, lets have some fun...1st entry tomorrow.

I woke up sore a fuk cause I had to run 3 miles yesterday for PT. Today was back day. poundage may drop due to the fact that I'm in a calorie defecient state and it is irrelevant to fat loss, anyway. I meant to weigh myself at the gym, but forgot....will do tomorrow.

Still going stong. My girlfriend and i was going to go on a hike for the light cardio today because the weather was so nice (85 degrees, breeze). Apparantly a mildy retarded drunken hillbilly was hired to map out the roads here in NC and we couldnt find it. Google maps littlerally had us going in circles and taking us an hour to go about 10 miles. so we just went to the gym and did the eliptical for 30 minutes, 700+ cals. Now I'm at work peeing every 20 minutes (2 gallons a day)

I was an E-5 in the Navy. Went in E-1, E-2 and E-3 were automatic, E-4 had to test but they were passing EVERYONE in my job field at the time. I earned E-5, though. They kinda closed the door on promotions, but I studied like a son of a... and had good evals, etc. I attended an all-service school (Fort Benjamin Harrison's Defense Information School back in 1984) and heard from Air Force personnel that making rank in the AF was very difficult. Best wishes.

Yup. I'm only doing Hyroxycut here as well.

HARCORE OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!! I'm also taking vitamins, test boosters, pills with every meal, when i wake, before i sleep, before the gym, after the gym. Pills are just a great way to get nutrients to the body and bypass all the calories. 2 gallons a day in minumum for me...

I made Staff quick for the Guard, then I got my Seven Level. I've been on Active Duty orders since Jul 2006 and my Guard unit has closed so I have to move to a new unit and cross train.

I guess my orders end 30JUN, so Jul / Aug I do weekend warrior duty and then it's off to Tech-School at San Angelo. I'm so looking foward to being the old guy class leader.......NOT!

Good workout, took it easy on chest due to the fact i havent really hit it latley. it was too big and I wanted it to get smaller and in more proprtion to my bis n delts, but its down in size and thickness now, so I can train chest again focusing on form and not weight. Would have done the eliptical instead of walking outdoor simply because it burns more cals, but they were all occupied by mexicans wearing jeans and dress shirts (serious) (no racists)
tomorrow is just some light cardio.....then pics on Monday!

Overall a good workout, i like the second half of the cardio a hell of alot more than the first.
tomorrow is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! i converted some of my favorite workout CD's (Manson, Rob Zombie, Soulfly, etc...) into itunes so i can rock out while in the gym, so workouts will be crazy intense, not like they weren't before...

military PT was rainined out, thanks satan, i hate having other people tell me how to exercise. So, we were allowed to hit the gym, i still went to my gym instead of the one on base, hope I dont get in trouble, but i didnt feel like waiting in line for something in the gym on base when my gym had maybe 3 people in the whole place....it was only a cardio day anyway.....

nope, i work nights, sometimes i just wake up SUPER early and cant go back to sleep...but it is better to train soon after waking to booste your metabolism and set it up to burn throughout the day

hammerstrength machines are a great way to continue to hit the target muscle group once your stabalizers are fried from free weights, which I always do first.

yeah DC will get you big n strong quick! I remember doing parallel dips with 130lbs hangin from my waist, but I tweaked my shoulder and am just now getting back into weighted dips. I didn't keep a journal of my last bulk, but I will after this cut

Well, I've been doing DC for over 2 years straight, i just came off of it in Febuary, and i wanted to see how my body responded with volume while cutting. last year i did DC while cutting and got results, but so far my body has seemed to respond much better to volume training while cutting, but believe me, come July It's back on the DC train choooo chooooooooooo light weight baby

alot, but you have to consider that when i train my glycogen stores are empty.....Muscle mass has stayed, so i wouldnt say i have LOST strength, im just currently very weak

Thats what sux about dieting....I h8 feeling week from a diet. Does the Hydroxycut help keep energy and strength though? Your not using any test supp are you? Those would help too.

yep, refeed is just a day when you consume slightly more than your expenditure and more frequent meals. the main reason is to bring some life to your metabolism as it tends to slow down a bit after hard dieting for a while.

thanks, I usually do AT LEAST an hour, but today I only did 45 minutes because my nose was running and i had to cough...but i'm getting better and not doing anything to intense so that my immune system and finish this cold off.

I should be 100% by friday.

Then It Hit Me, I Got Extremely Dizzy. Like So Disoriented That If I Would Have Tried To Stand Up I Would Have Hit The Fllor Like A Brick. It Felt Good At First, Like Being Drunk, Then Bad. I Wasnt Nautious Too Much, Just Dizzy And My Head Felt Havy And My Equilibrium Was Way Off, Like I Couldnt Even Tell Up From Down So I Just Sat There Wondering Wtf Was Going On Hoping I Didnt Bust A Blood Velsel In My Brain Or Some S****.
Well, After About 10 Minutes, It Went Away Some, So I Attemted To Stand Up So I Could Get On The Floor And Stretch, I Made It But I Had To Hold On To Something As I Walked. **** Was So Wierd. I Wanted To Leave, But I Still Had Calves To Do.

You guys don't understand. I've been lifting weights for what, 13 years now, and i have NEVER felt anything like what I've felt yesterday. it wasn't a lack of oxygen, i know what that feels like. It was definatley and overwhelming chemical reaction. I have been thinking about it non-stop and I have come to the conclusion that it was either an endorphine rush (hence the good, drunk feeling) or and adrenaline rush. I'm leaning toward endorphine. It was like i had been given a shot of some powerful drug, it's hard to explain.

Thanks guys, it's really getting down to the wire, I've never been this lean, so I'm totally experimenting right now. I've upped my carbs around workouts and even sip on malto during. I'm starting to fill out, and I'm interested to see if i keep loosing fat. we'll see

Today was a cardio day only and a low carb day. I've started intaking my carbs in correlation with my exercise for that day. i.e. back and leg days = high carb 300g, shoulders and chest/tri = 200g, cardio days = 100g....all complex of course. yams, oats, whole wheat cereal, fiber one, or veggies...

not a good day

- slept like crap
-woke up, pissed my gf off 1st thing with smart ass comment
-The air is full of smoke from wild fires, cant breathe
-Injured my neck doing pull downs, hurts to turn head (wtf)
-couldn't finish my workout, pain was too great


on the upside,
still nailed my macros, I got in one good exercise os rev brip BB rows, went up to 235 lbs.

I just hope my neck is better tomorrow. If it's worse, i'm done.

Neck felt great once I got warmed up, i was so worried when I got out of bed cause I could bearly move my head, but once I got in the gym and got moving, I didnt even notice it harldy. 2 days of cardio, then legs on Monday. im starting to see striations in my quads, the feathered thing.

haven't really done a good workout since Tuesday, I went to the gym today and did a little but kept reps high, and only lifted for about 20 minutes. i dont want to use any glycogen. I'm feeling fuller and fuller as time goes on. i got some great advice from a friend today as far as water and carb loading goes, so we'll see how it works. Pics are looking good, but i dont have internet at my apt 90% of the time and the servicemen are too busy, i bet the guy that mails the bill every month won't be too busy to do his job.
