i want to get a new weight bench .... that holds an olympic size bar...(45lb) bar...anyone know of a good solid bench i can find online under 400....i will get the 300lb weight set at sears...
ooo and i want a really wide bench...the one i have now is very narrow.

I know you think you want a bench with the bar uprights and the silly leg extension on the end but you really dont...
you want an FID bench and an enclosed power rack, as you progress, your gonna realize this was the way to go.
Ebay and craigslist are your friend, this stuff can be found within your budget, depending on where you look, you can buy new but if you want a little bit better quality equipment, then used is ideal and again, common items, should be able to meet your budget.
Dont let the little voice tell you that your gonna save money going with a regular bench with uprights to hold the bar, cause thats just not true, for a few dollars more, you can have something that will last you indefinitely.
