Well i have done keto in the past was down to 267 at one point. Was doing really well. Then i got a new GF got lazy and well you know the rest. So the day after Easter i decided it was an excellent time to start a new keto diet. So i came across Steak and Egg keto diet. I made a poor mans version of it and ran with it.
Some stats:
Height-5'8''
Age-20
Male
Weight- 280
So i started the 24th as planned. that morning i weighed in at 288. Today i am here at 280.
I plan to loose until about 220 in August. Its a steep goal of 15 pounds a month but, its more healthy loose it faster than to be this over weight. I workout at home. Im a big dumbbell fan so its all i really use. I do bodyweight squats for lower body since i blew my knew out doing squats in highschool. This is the start of my Log. I will keep people updated.

5th day today. Woke up weighed in at 279. Broke the 280 mark. Im feeling good.

Heres day 6. Im down 10 pounds today. feeling pretty good.

Good luck bro. I started my keto today at 6'2 and 256. If you get sick of ground beef, I had some chuck steak that I marinated overnight and some eggs for breakfast. It is actually fairly easy to find cheap, yet still tasty steak.

Good going man, keep up the good work, it feels so good to see that scale constantly drop on a daily basis, thats when you know your diet is in check and your on the move!

Thanks for the support guys. Today im still hovering around 279-278. I have lost about an 1.5 inches off my stomach already.

Thanks agian guys. SOme good news. I finally found a gym that is closer to my house and i can start working out with more than the limited weights i have at home. Sadly in my town all the gyms are kind of on the other side of town from me. Today i happend upon a Rec center thats 10 minutes away and not 35 like the Ballys i went to. $1.25 a visit. so i figure at 3 days a week thats 15 bucks a month for a gym. Im pretty happy.

Thats awesome! I wish I had a gym that I could go to for $15/Month!...heck, even $30/Month would be cool!

I can go 4 days a week for 20 bucks a month. Or just to make it even better. I can get in for three months with a $35 fee. Which is just a sexy price. Or $140 a year.

Damn, I used to pay like 30 bucks a month in high school for our crappy YMCA...you lucky! I get to work out for free at school here, but I bet when I graduate I won't be able to find a gym at less than like 60 a month...

I can go 4 days a week for 20 bucks a month. Or just to make it even better. I can get in for three months with a $35 fee. Which is just a sexy price. Or $140 a year.
Do the $140 a year man, then you have no excuse not to go on ANY paticular day.

Well i went to check out the weight room their today. HAd to get city certified to use the gym. which was lame. I was really let down. They said they had free weights and machines. But alas all they had were machines. So im contemplating on wether i should just use my limited free weights at home. Not too sure now.

So today is day 9. I jumped on the scale and now i am now 11 pounds. Still feel really good. Had a small carb up day on my 7th day. Still lost. I feel i am headed in the right direction. Now at 277. My August 1st goal of weighing 220 looks more and more achievable every day. When i hit 220 i will post some pictures. Maybe sooner.

Wow man, thats going to be quite the loss over 5 months, stay strict and work hard and you should be close! Im hoping to be 200 from 230 in 3 months.
Good work on the 11lbs so far!

Yea man, its awesome to develop good eating habits and to berid you mind of cravings for bad food choices.

Glad the cravings are going away. When I was out for Mexican last night I was bummed I couldn't have chips and salsa, so I had one chip and it was revolting!

Fries have GOT to be my fav. cheat food...dipped in some Mayo -- wowowow.

Fries are the worst combo of fat and carb though so I typically don't indulge.

we are all fat kids deep down. hahaha
just worked out. went to the park prior and flew some kites. thats some decent cardio. trust me. 3 mph wind and a 7 mph kite i did some running.

So today was my 10th day of this diet. and wow.i have been loseing at a slower pace which was fine... but today i woke up 2 pounds lighter. cool! so now im down 14 pounds so far. Puts me at 274! Every day i get closer and closer to the new me.

Today is day 11. Day 11 finds with weighing in at 272. Which is 16 pounds down. When i started i measured around my belly at 57 inches, today it was 54.5. So im willing to assume i am doing great =)

Good job man keep it up, I really have to start taking measurments instead of using a stupid scale which has no bearing really.

Yea, i weigh in everyday just to keep it on track. I will measure myself every 5 days or so. I think 2.5 inches in 11 days is pretty dang solid. goin to the meat market today or tommorrow to get some cheap cuts of steak. Anything will be better than this ground beef. i cant stomach it much longer.

haha, i hear ya man, I like to get stewing beef sometimes and just stew it in beef broth, its just like a beef soup with super tender pieces of beef that just melt in your mouth. Just put it all in a slow cooker and forget about.

Thanks Mark. Yeah man i love stewed beef. Soooo good. I got some fatty ribeye steaks today. HAving a family bbq tonight.
