Thanks.

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days, I have had a lot on my mind, I was rejected by another local police department a couple days ago. I have to keep pushing forward with the hope that I will one day be hired and become a cop.

Diet has been good, I am sitting at 228 pounds right now. I have to lose three more pounds to reach my goal for the month of June. I am pushing hard with the diet and cardio, though going for a long time with so few carbs in my diet has been rough.

I know you'll keep going cause they always say "You can't keep a good man down". You are doing things right, don't let up.

Head up, big guy. Persistence pays off. This will allow you more time to get into "perfect" shape.

Some things work out better in the end, after previous rejection. Just don't let being a cop be the only thing that will make you happy. If it doesn't happen in the long run, take another path and be happy. There are many paths to choose.

Exactly man. I was rejected by coutless companies before I got the main job. It hurt big time, I didnt know what I was doing wrong, but it did make me stronger everytime I re-applied. Just keep at it, I guess its a job itself to look for a job and get it! Persistence does pay off...

I'm ok, been pretty busy. I was hired as a part-time deputy a short while back. In between my full-time job, and my training for the sheriff's office, I am quite busy. Not to mention I am still interviewing and testing for a full-time law enforcement position. Give me a little while to get my focus back.

That is my hope as well.

Well I have good news. This morning when I woke up, I weighed in at 225 pounds. I have finally reached my long term goal, after 1 year and 6 months of hard dieting, I have lost 250 pounds. I am a new person and I am grateful to all of those here who have supported me as I pushed myself this far.

The last couple of weeks I have followed the cut diet exactly with my goal of reaching 225 pounds before the end of June in the back of my mind. Now that I have reached my long-term goal, I can finally push on to my ultimate goal 10% bodyfat. I have no clue how long this will take. Reaching 225 took me quite a bit longer than I anticipated.

When you reach your goals, the only thing left to do is set new goals. Thanks for the encouragement.
