Okay............nice.

I am impressed with his smooth rep form; the upright rows & how he seemed to pull/push his chest out justbefore the bar reaches his neck. Details. Doesn't look like it might have been all that heavy either. Fast fwd; 40 years & same smooth rep form on the bicep curls. Form of the rep and doing the rep more important than finishing the rep?

The romance? Unconventional, seems to have worked out (no pun) in the end. Nice.

What's with that lady? The whole time she is married to some sap while she is infatuated with George and has his baby etc and as soon as he drops dead she is jumping all over George and tells him he has a 37 year old son! I'm sorry but if I was George I would have been disgusted by the whole thing...

It's a shame that most in here do not know the full story of George E. WWll hero, Life Time Achievement Award...Honored at Mr. Muscle Beach. Teacher. One of the original trainers to the stars. Gentleman. Pioneer. BB Champion. Gym equipment inventor. Friend.

Men like George paved the way in the Iron game so kids like me had the vision and the pathway to travel.

I perhaps did him a dis-service by posting his wife's memories and ramblings. Not conventional, by the "Book", nor the couple next door....but she sure loved muscle on her man.

Love, is indeed, truly blind. Sometimes the past morals of our parents do not make sense to us, but love knows no boundaries. Sorry for the old sayings, but those really seem to fit.

What a touching story. I guess it really was a different time back then. Good for the both of them to finally marry the true love of their lives.
