I have noticed myself in a bit of an "out there" mood lately. I don?t know what is wrong with me. Just been feeling down when I should be feeling on top of the world right now. I am 7 weeks out from my 1st competition and have been feeling BLAHHH?. I need some advice on how to cheer myself up! I feel like I am turning into this loner that is anti-social. I want to smile and be pumped for my workout like I was when I started prepping. And I wanna shout to the world about my progress; not feel that people won?t understand what I am doing. I wanna feel more awake and not sooo drained all the time! I wanna enjoy this process one day and a time?but I feel I am just on auto-pilot just trying to get my day done with so I can go to sleep and wake up for another day. Any suggestions? Related stories? Relaxation/talks?

Its been my experience the better you look the worse you feel! Getting ready for a show is draining! Its a selfish sport no one can help you but you. Thats why not everybody dose shows its hard. But once the show is over you will feel great and happy you followed thru! Keep your head up its almost over.

Feeling a little down means do a carb load for me. The next day it's almost a guarantee I'll have a good pump and have my "joe go" back. :)

Agreed, for me it's a signal to refeed.

I have never done a refeed before. What exactly would I do? My current macros are calories:1,249 fat:29 carbs:106 protein:159 It turns out to be 20% fat 50% protein and 30% carbs.

I dont feel sad I feel mad. When I feel like this I will put on my routine music, bring out my full length mirror and practice my routine. seeing how good I look usually makes me feel much better and gives me reassurance as to why I am doing this and putting myself through this.
I am 33 years old and in the best shape of my life!!

Eat a sweet potato before you go to bed. Drink no water 60 minutes before and drink no water 60 minutes after. That's what I do for my refeed.
