Men can post here. The problem is that often it is boys that post here and insult the women here or ask idiotic questions. If you are respectful and somewhat intelligent. I am sure the women in here would welcome you.

I completely agree. Women don't mind men posting in the misc. section. It's just the boneheads that come in here just to start trouble and insult women. They know they are posting on a women's section and yet they start threads like all women are xyz or women's rights is bs to name a few. They are doing it to start trouble. Or ask really stupid questions like why do you want to look like a guy and be manly? If guys come in here to offer advice or ask a question that has some substance to it- women wouldn't mind. Its the immature and harrassing behavior that turns a supportive forum into a battlefield- that's what women are having problems wth.

Actually, they do a really good job of making asses of themselves. Without help.

I think it's only fair to mention that it seems like women who post in misc and dare to disagree with the men get negged and insulted.... I'm not saying that this occurs all of the time, but I have noticed it and I'm new and just browsing......
But I don't see why men -can't- post here. I think it's just a matter of what, why, how, etc.

Very good point! The "Female Bodybuilding" section is the only forum that seems to be the place for good, general chat on various subjects. I enjoy hearing from the women as much as the men and it seems the women don't post very often in the "Misc" section. Therefore, I come to the section where both men and women post. In the office, at a party or anywhere in general, I don't just talk to men so why would I do it on the internet. Women have an interesting and refreshing look on life's situations and I wish they would post on some of the other sections more, say in the "Political / Religion" forum.

Men/Female.
Mainly because the normal misc section appears to have down syndrome and women might get embarrassed seeing nudes all the time.

This sums up what I would have said. I posted a thread in the relationship help section about how to be more romantic and I got slammed by guys, including getting negged by one because he thought it was stupid. Posting in the female section, or the SEA are the two places I can post and not get insulted.

Hey, women do that too. Does no one remember the guy who came in saying all the girls he knew acted like idiots, and everyone negged him, cause most of us are women? No one likes to be told how to act, even if you don't mean it offensively. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and all that.

I don't think it was the fact that he thought all the women he knew were idiots was the reason why he was negged. It was the immature attitude and beliefs that all women should be ignored because they were women. I bet that men negged this person too. If it was reverse and a woman did that in a man's section calling all men knuckle dragging neanderthals- I'm pretty sure they'd get negged too.

I'd post in the R/P forum (I'll go there and read all day), but discussions turn into flamefests at the drop of a hat.
I have enough drama at work to deal with, I don't want to deal with it from a bunch of know-it-all extremists on a forum, thanks anyway. (not saying that everyone who posts there is like that, but a lot of them are.)
