knee wrap injury

So I wrapped my knee wraps pretty tight this past weekend but this also happened to a lesser extent the weekend before. I have a pain on the outside of the back of my knee. Its tender to the touch and affects both knees although the right knee is a little worse. I have had IT band injuries before and those were mostly focused on the right knee.

Does this happen to anyone else or does anyone have any ideas?
