Well i got into the gym and felt really good and i got right at it.

here is how i did:

45lbs x 10 (get my knees warmed up, i have a problem with my right one)

95lbs x 7
135lbs x 5
155lbs x 3
195lbs x 1
225lbs x 0 (almost had it, i jumped up too much weight :( )

^^^ Funny story about that attempt. One of the guys at my gym, a trainer who is a competition bodybuilding, wanted to see me do this. Asked me if i knew i could do it and i told him ya. He asked me how many times i've squatted and i told him just last week i started but i used to use the leg press and pushed up 500lbs regularly. He said "ok" and spotted me. I ALMOST had it, i went down to fast and could get it up and i also think i jumped too much weight. then he wanted to see my form just to make sure i wasn't hurting myself. So i did 135lbs x 5 for him. He was impressed by form and asked why i squatted so LOW :p. I told him because i have a knee problem and while reading up on squatting i read going below parrallel shifts the weight on your ass, hammies, and hips more and leaves pressure off your knees. He was like "yup." So then i got back into again and trying for a max cuz i KNEW i could do 225lbs. Here is how i did:

195lbs x 1
205lbs x 1
215lbs x 1

thats it....if i hadn't jumped the weight and did that internim set i probably could've done 225lbs. Oh well.....im pumped

Not too bad for 2 time ever WHOO. Powerlifting rules

on a side note....i do squatting (legs) and shoulders in the same workout and everytime i always do so much better with my shoulder pressing and i think its cuz of the squats. Squating rules!
